In June, we’ll have two wonderful free workshops (both at 1:00 on Sunday afternoon). June 8th is an opportunity to learn and practice ways of working with the inner parts of self that arise while we sit. Daito (Emily) will offer a guided introduction to the “Dharma Bus” to help us notice and label all the humorous characters we carry along (anxiety, resistance, anger, humor, avoidance, etc). This workshop will illustrate ways to work with these challenges on and off the cushion.
On June 29th ShoShu (Robin) and Daito (Emily) are happy to offer posture guidance for anyone struggling with finding ways to sit comfortably. Even if you have a posture that works, it’s helpful to have alternatives as life has a way of creating challenges just as the grass grows in summer.
